Yesterday my best friend helped me make cake balls! It was my first time, but I think they came out pretty well. Last night we baked a basic white cake from a box, and following the recipe from Bakerella, we let it cool, added some rainbow chip frosting (we thought the little candy chips would be a fun surprise inside!) and rolled the mixture into balls. Our batch made about 4 1/2 dozen balls, and then this morning we finished them up! We melted chocolate chips and added some wax to thin the chocolate, then dipped the balls of cake! I finished them off with a drizzle on top! Yum :) I can't wait to try out some variations on this easy recipe!
